Despite the White House pleading with Wall Street to stop paying ridiculous bonuses, firms are coming out with huge "compensations" to their employees. AIG distributed $100 million in bonuses yesterday; Bank of America spent $4.4 billion last year on its Wall Street bankers. At the same time there's growing opposition in the Senate towards Obama's proposals to reform Wall Street.
